3D view crop view greyed out

Hi,
I am using nodes as on the image below, and I am facing this issue where the view crop cannot be set.
They are created with crop view greyed out in Revit so it is read only.

Hi,

I think it is not possible with a perspective view.
Try to use 1/0 as input and set lacing to longest.

It is possible for every view, changing lacing doesn’t help.
Duplicating the view is unlocking it thou

Is there a scope box set in the views?

it is set to none

so what happens is:
The views are created okay with Crop View unlocked, but not ticked.
In the next step when the sheet with these view is created, the crop view gets locked! So strange
1.Create 3D views and place on sheet v.1.01.dyn (88.4 KB)

Hey Pablo,

Any 3D view that is uncropped has an infinite view extent, especially if the camera is inside a room: the extents of the room stretch around the camera a full 360 degrees and thus no view boundary condition exists. The only way to have a 3D view on a sheet is to create some sort of boundary that defines the extent of the image (Crop View). As long as a 3D view is on a sheet, “Crop View” will always be greyed out.

Hope this helps you understand the logic behind this Revit hard coding.
