I recently put together a simple script that enables me to rename Floor Plans, RFC and elevations’ names, creates sheets based on the edited names and insert the correspondent views (Floor Plans, RFC, etc) inside the sheets.
This works only if I recreate (delete and make a new lvl1) and then run the script. If I leave the original level 1 untouched, the correspondent Floor Plan is not inserted into the created sheets.
I find it weird since the lvl0 is the original in both files and in both cases, the correspondent Floor Plan is successfully placed inside the sheets.
Can someone try to explain to me why this is happening? I really don’t mind recreating the level 1, I just want to understand what is the reason behind this.
I am using Revit 2017 with Dynamo 1.3.2
