Update Revit family shared parameter value

Greeting,

I have created a shared parameter to adjust the size of the profile in an adaptive family as below:

I have tried to use different node to get the shared parameter”Additional clearance”. None of those seem to work. Unable to get the parameter from the family. Does any one know the node that will work? Thank you for the help. The adaptive family is attached.

Hello, if you identified the shared parameter as a type parameter, be sure to add the node** Element.elementType

Thank you for your response. How about if it is a instant parameter?

Double check your parameter name matches exactly, looks like it’s “Addtional” (typo) in your family, but the script is looking for “Additional”.
