Trouble with Rotating Family Instances

Hello,

I have been having trouble rotating some family instances after they are in the model. If I run the script without trying to rotate the fmaily instances they all place fine just unrotated. But if I try and rotate them in the same script after they are placed the first element in the list doesnt show up where its supposed too and places way outside the model for some reason, but everything else seems to place and rotate fine.

I am confused on why this is happening with only the first element and would appreciate any help on how to possibly solve this. Worst case scenario I can make a separate script for rotating the elements after they are placed but I would like them in the same one if possible.

I have attached screenshots of what the outputs are for each node. Please let me know if any additional information is needed.

Thank you in advance

Hi @Clayton.Woollen_UVKH is it on link…if so it looks like your model doesnt share origin

Yes the model is linked but the family instances should be placing based on the center of the spaces as the origin. You can see the dot on the left room is where it was supposed to place but for some reason when I try and rotate the device after its placed it puts it way outside of the model. However, if i just place the instance first it places just fine.

So i am just confused why the first element of the list always places outside of the model or how to fix it when that point still shows up where it is supposed to go.

Actually after messing around with it I was just able to relocate the first item that places in the wrong spot and rotate and relocate it again with a few extra nodes.
