I am a mechanical engineer and I want to learn dynamos in a way that serves my field as a mechanic. Can anyone help me?
Hello @mahmoudelsabah85 . You can learn something with using this link firstly.
I watched the video. I want to know how the dynamo will benefit me if I am a MEP engineer. Does it have a fundamental role in my work or does it entail any facilities?
You can find similar information on the Dynamo Forum.
Yes, it will.
If you have repetitive tasks Dynamo can help. MEP engineering is full of those.
If you wish Revit gave you information which you currently have to calculate in something like excel, Dynamo can help. MEP engineering is full of those too.
If you have coordination issues or data issues to deal with, Dynamo can help. MEP engineering is full of those as well.
Basically if you do it in Revit or use Revit data elsewhere today Dynamo can help save time in both the design, documentation, and engineering aspects.
Start with the primer which was linked above. Skip nothing - even if they seem irrelevant to your needs. The primer is designed to help you learn concepts not to give you solutions, so while something like layout of facade panels seems useless to you as an MEP engineer the concepts of lacing and list levels which the exercise utilizes are a must for building out the workflows you are after.
Ok I have read all this I thank you very much but is there any Arabic source sufficient to enable me to master this
Ok, I understand. Is there a better way to learn all of this? I have never used the program and I want to learn it so that I can reach the advanced level from a beginner level of zero.
My recommendation is the primer for self guided stuff. There are a lot of other sources like Linked-In Learning, YouTube, and more which you can then follow up with.
You could also take a course if that is more your thing - many consulting firms offer courses periodically.
I wanted to learn it on my own for freelance work, so I was searching on YouTube for any source for this training, preferably in Arabic, but if there is no Arabic, then in any language.
