Awesome work! How many will you be printing?

Ooo, what an awesome idea! Our 3D printer at work is gathering dust

This is becoming an obsession :joy:

I built mine live today during the Dynamo Office Hour Community Conversation, which will be posted to YouTube later (we have to wait for the recording to process).

Took it a bit farther and decided to make it snow… rather happy with the result:

Are you going to share the falling snowflake graph?

Not really in a ‘shareable’ state as there aren’t any annotations and it needs a custom node to make it work, but I’ll see if I can come up with a distribution method.

For now you can check out how each single snowflake was built here: 21 - Community Conversation - Dynamo 2021 Wrap Up! - YouTube

Yeah, I’m defo a tad obsessed… Been ill all day but wondering, “wonder how it’d work with an L-system”…

So after my lemsip (lemon drink with asprin and stuff)… I did this:

Also shoved it into GD too (first time I forgot to limit the iterations and killed it… )

one of those looks like the flux capacitor.

We should stick to physics
There is six dendrites If there are any.
Still asking myself questions about the stick-like ones though.

I told my last one to repeat in angles of 60 degrees… No idea why it’s in fifths… Must be aliens or something :expressionless:

60…360…#5

I can see the 5 here

That’s because I had 1/6 to start and I wanted 5 more…

But obviously the 360 is the same as the one I was copying…

I should have written 60…300…#5

I need to walk away from these snowflakes

My first one… I inverted the cuts to be the bits that showed… Don’t think it’s as good as the L-System one but it’s still fun :

Are you meant to run it on automatic or periodic?

I just tried periodic and it’s killed my pc.
