Search feature is unpredictable...?

Hello everyone,

new to Dynamo, and trying to get the hung of it.

First thing first: the Search field, in Dynamo (0.75 or 0.8) is quite puzzling. We spend a lot of time just searching for standard nodes.

On example of the many unexpected results:

  • typing “Element” does not return the node “Select Model Element”.

  • typing “Select” does not return the node “Select Model Element”.

  • typing “Model”, however, does find and list the node “Select Model Element”.

Is there something that very beginners need to know about Dynamo UI to be able to (quickly) find nodes?

PS: typing “Selection” actually finds and returns the node “Select Model Element”…

is a known issue in the menu.

hope it will be fixed asap.
