I am still working on the North-South-East-West orientation of the exterior joinery. I am almost at the end of my investigation but I only have one problem left to manage.
Indeed, I cannot determine the orientation of my Velux (roof window). It’s completely anarchic. The roof window is to the West while the window below is to the South. To solve my problem, I thought with Dynamo, I thought to make a vertical projection of my Velux and to extract the vector from it.
Do you think this is the right solution?
I am attaching my Dynamo script and screenshots of my Revit project.
