I was creating this graph to rename Wall Type Names based on their properties to find that Dynamo can override the limitation of having duplicate Wall Type Names.
Give it a go.
Open Dynamo.
Set it to Automatic.
Go to Revit.
Place one instance of a wall type.
Duplicate a Type and make sure that both the Type Mark and the Description match.
Click OK.
Wait a moment and see how Dynamo renames it to match the previous Wall Type Name.
This sounds like a recipe for disaster (having multiple Wall Type Names).
Is it something that I am doing wrong?
