Python Node - Tabs and Spaces

Hello Dynamo Friends

In Revit 2024 it seems to be the standard setting that hitting the tab key will make 4 spaces

In Revit 2023 on my company machine the standard setting is that hitting the tab key will make a tab. But I´m 99,9% sure, that on my home machine in Revit 2023 i get spaces if I hit the tab key.

So my questions is, is this some setting I can edit anywhere?
I would like to have spaces in all Revit versions, on every machine.

Hello @gerhard.p - There is no setting doing this. Dyanmo’s Python editor will automatically convert tabs to spaces for you in CPython3 and IronPython3, but will still allow tabs for IronPython2 so as not to break legacy usage for mixed indentation errors.

Never would have thought of that, so I’m glad I asked before going crazy

Thank you very much!
