Can you extract only the points on the wall?

Thank you very much for your information. It was very helpful.
When I inserted the family, I used the point of the column and the host was the wall. The family is inserted horizontally, but when it is horizontal, the family cannot be inserted. Is it because the point of the column is used instead of the point of the wall?
