Dear Dynamo Community,
I have a residential building with numerous apartments which I need to tag on my plans. I’ve already created a tag which takes its information from a project parameter “Apartment Number” What I’m struggling with now is how to automate this process.
Please note that I’m grouping rooms to define an apartment. Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve attached my spline room number script, might help. If you’re grouping rooms to have the same number you’ll need to think about how your spline travels, and which apartment room ‘holds’ the number, or find something that connects them all and use that to group the rooms by key or function before you set the parameters.

i dont know if you also create areaplans for the appartments. i do this job by numbering the appartments based on the areaplans with a spline and then let the rooms take the number from the area it is in.

Dear @lennart030 I totally agree with you, it’s better to do based on areaplans, the thing is that I need to follow the standards of the office. I’m working on this script now based on @GavC’s WIP_Rooms_BySpline-Number, I’ll share my results soon!
