Hi
I’m trying to turn the CAD polyline into a Generic Model in Revit through Dynamo
I seem to be able to get the shape in Dynamo but it doesn’t show up in Revit when I run it.
Please guide me
PolyLIne.dwg (490.4 KB)
SweepAsSolid.dyn (24.2 KB)
Thank you.
@Potato ,
it looks weard your lines… do you want a loft “tube” ? or a topography?

I’m actually looking to create individual rebars.
I tried doing it with Revit’s Sweep but it doesn’t allow me to select the Polyline from DWG.
I googled and saw few person using Dynamo, so I thought I can try doing a sweep with the DWG polyline.
I don’t know what I need is a loft tube or a topography.
@Potato ,
when you do rebars… you will need a profile and path for lofting it!
how would you do it by hand ?

Thats why I thought of doing sweep instead
But I couldn’t select the Polyline from DWG
Any idea what went wrong with the.dyn file?
@Potato ,
to create costum forms i would first create a .sat file and than import
