Navisworks WBS to Revit element ID

Hi All,

In my projects, I have been using navisworks to generate WBS for quantification and use the same WBS values in Microsoft project for planning and navisworks simulations.

Has anyone tried linking back these WBS numbers back to their specific element ID back into each Revit element with dynamo?

My point of asking this is because, if the above process is possible then a lot of construction simulation would be streamlined.

Any ideas are highly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you can solve, mapping the ID of the element in one of the custom field

Then use the Excel or XML export to take these values back to Revit using Dynamo

Finally you can use Dynamo to find elements back in Revit and copy the WBS value.
