Material thickness of walls

Hi all experts

I want to get material thickness from the different material layers of the walls in my Revit. I tried using the node “SystemFamily.GetCompundLayerWidth” from the packages from both Clockwork (i know its not updated) and GeniousLogi, and it does not work. I only get the value null.

Are there any workarounds to get the thicknesses?

I have looked all over the forum and the interwebs with no luck.

Can anyone help?

Kind regards,

Peter

The node Get CompundStructureLayers from Genius Loci seems to work fine

It does not work for me nor my colleagues? I use Revit 2022, i dont know if that has anything to do with it?

Have you opened the custom node to make sure there aren’t any missing nodes or unhandled errors?

hmmm strange should work on 2022 as well, are you on 2022.1

Hi,

Try to isolate parts of your wall list and see the results.
There are probably stacked walls or curtain walls in your wall list causing this error.
