Make View Set from Drawing Index

I have a flattened list with sheet names taken from my DRAWING INDEX schedule. The ViewSets.ByViewsName gives null. I assume I need to convert the list to a VAR or Element. (Springs node is VAR, or if I use the node made by archilab, that uses element)
How do I convert the list from string to VAR or Element?

This setup did work in the past. I had posted this about 4 years ago showing a working setup:

I did get this to work using legacy versions of the software.
