Live 2-day Online Workshop in August and a Free Computational Design Guide!

Dear Dynamites!

I’m really excited to announce the launch of our new workshops, and it felt right that the first one we run is for the platform and community that kicked off Bimorph and rapidly led to BimorphNodes, which I know many of you use in your daily workflows. Bimorph has since grown into a firm specialising in design automation apps and plug-ins for Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino, and the workshops are built directly from that work: the techniques we teach are the ones we use on production projects every day.

Here’s what we’re launching with:

A free introduction to computational design with Revit + Dynamo

A self-paced, documentation-style guide that teaches visual programming from first principles by building a parametric double-curved roof from Revit adaptive components: computational thinking, parameter space, lists, lacing and indexing, through to live Revit geometry driven from Dynamo. No sign-up needed.

Innovate: a live online 2-day computational design workshop

For experienced Dynamites who want to take on advanced computational design workflows with live instruction, we’re running our Innovate workshop on 27–28 August 2026, 10:00–15:00 BST, live online. Over six guided steps you build a fully parametric elliptical spiral stair from Revit elements, covering:

  • Functions, lists, lacing and indexing
  • Solids, surfaces and direct shapes
  • Reading and writing Revit parameters
  • Dynamic family placement
  • Extending Dynamo with packages

Sessions are taught live by my team (and I!) so you can ask questions as you go and bring problems from your own projects. For the same reason places are capped at 14: everyone gets direct support when they hit a snag.
