Hi sovitek thanks for the reply , its my bad i sent you just the host file without the linked file! , here they are both ! open the host file “cotation par clique linked”
and my goal to create a filled region over a wall/slab layer function for exempel structural or insulation ! like in the image !
but my result is still unclean in the joinery between the walls and the slabs!

cotation par clique.rvt (6.8 MB)
cheers yeah thats makes sense
i will first be in dynamo next week, if im lucky maybe before, but not sure…and i can take look if you havent find a solution…ps you want it as in first or last image ???
allright seems you have it there , why not try union these surfaces, and get the perimeter curves from that polysurface ?
if you focus on the wall boundaries they are not as looking like what they should be like the revit model ! sometimes the red surface doesnt cover the entire structural layer and sometime it overcovers it (extends)
arhh alright, take a look later
btw sovitek , where can i get your plugin? the SOVI one , seems intereseting thanks!
i will share that code later for get layers solid and hope it could help you
and thats my personal definations and not public yet…but when the day comes and feel ready with that project i will share everything
and until now almost 1600 nodes..but still work on it…hahahaha
Wow! haha so cool !!! btw sovitek ive managed to do the same thing in plan view for specific wall layer (insulation, structure, etc) of a linked model in active host view , but as you can see the red boundary surface is always not finely joined up , ive managed to deduct the surface of the visible windows and doors tho! heres my script

yes thats exactly it how did you get the wall structural element to attach to the slab structural element ? nice works btw !
if i remember..haha you know i just play around early in the morning…
…i get the isolines from these vertical surfaces and extend that curve so it hit , and use a curve, polycurve thickness…and surface union for it all, and get perimeter curves from that…but guees other ways as well for do that…not at dynamo right now ![]()
nice awesome! would you mind sharing me the file please?
try here…i have only tried on your shared file/view, can probably be other situations…and place the filled region script/dyf so you can set level/lacing, and place it in your dynamo defination folder, as i dont think OOTB do loops…hope it could help…ps be sure you have pythonnet 3…and all can for sure be made more elegant, but what i have time for now ![]()
