I have posted similar thread week ago but probably I did not describe it properly. I tried multiple ways to make it myselft but I’m struggling. So, I have to create coating on front face of the wall and insulation layers on the foundation top and back face of the wall. It sounds easy to be created just as wall by face BUT, they want to have custom parameters inside family instance with individual area and volume because they are going to export it in IFC later. Im going to have shared parameter for these area and volume. Any ideas? Im out of any ideas already…
EDIT: I was thinking about creating work-plane based family and then controlling it by Dynamo but I can’t extract any borders of the selected face, then I can’t manage to control this family instance…
