I’m trying to export object styles from revit to excel. When I use Get Subcategories Line Pattern Node from GeniusLoci I get hidden subcategories that can not be modified in object styles. Any way of removing these efficiently?
Look at ceilings for example. List 4 below has 10 items but the object style menu only has “Common Edges” and “Hidden Lines.”
Not sure why they are showing up, but those are default / standard layer options for multi layer assemblies like wall and ceilings. I would think you could just filter those out because they won’t ever change.
Kind of feared that. I already did it with categories, but that was easy because there was only about 7 additional categories that don’t show up in the object styles. I think there are a lot more additional subcategories than categories.
