Get the sectional boundary of a room through an elevation?

Hi, I’m trying to get the boundary of a room but from an elevation view… what you see when you setup an elevation view inside of a room. I need the perimeter which I’ll then use to create a hatch region around it for my interior elevations.

Its easy to do this with the room boundary node if you want it on the floor plane… but I need the boundary on the wall plane (z plane)… as if youre slicing through the room.

I don’t recommend this. The bounding elements are an unstructured list and then you have to figure out the specific outline from the bounding elements which is computationally intensive.

Instead get the geometry of the room and intersect it with the view plane and you’re done.
