This is why changes aren’t welcome though. Rather than fighting the tech to fit a static design you can use the tech to generate a static design. And as far as ‘delivering the native data’, that’s between you and your client - if they were happy with static imports they’ll likely be just as happy with IFC exports brought back into Revit.
Is there a reason you’re using AdpativeComponent.ByPoints which generates static locations meaning each profile has to be updated uniquely, rather than AdaptiveComponent.ByParametersOnCurveReference which would allow Dynamic updates and in my opinion finer control over the deliverable?
