Face parallel to vector query

I was wondering of there is a way to filter the faces for the faces parallel to z-axis or x-axis.

Hi Amin,

I believe this has been answered before, however the forum search disappoints me yet again. A common approach is to compare the angles between the surface normals and the axis in question:
