I was finally able to find out what causes the node list information to not be displayed sometimes:
Once an empty list is part of the result of a node, it stops displaying information I would very much like to have (like list level depth and amount of entities in list), even when the empty list disappears from the result again. You need to reopen the script to get the display back.

This is super annoying, and therefore I’d appreciate a fix for this. 
I used Dynamo 3.4.2.7731.
