Easiest way to "bake" AutoCAD geometry to Civil3D

I found two other similar topics on the forum from 2018 and earlier, but one had a 404’d solution link and the other did not seem resolved, so I figured I’d try and post a new topic seeing if there are any novel ideas for this.

Is there any way to replicate the ‘baking’ of objects to Civil3D that occurs when you open and close Dynamo, without actually opening and closing Dynamo?

As in: I want to do the same thing multiple times to multiple different objects in the Civil3D modelspace, one at a time, without removing the previous modified or created geometry. I want Dynamo to work dynamically when I need it, but have a sort of “sever linked objects” node that you can activate to de-link the objects between Dynamo and Civil3D without deleting them.

My script basically takes some numbers from a CSV, takes a polyline, and offsets the polyline based on the values from the CSV. I’d like to be able to repeat this process for multiple objects in the drawing without having to close and re-open Dynamo.

Thanks!

Best to leverage Dynamo Player and disable element binding for the graph.

In lieu of an in-graph solution I think this might be the best way. Just toggle on and off the binding data parameters as needed. Thanks!
