:rocket: What Are We Hacking On?

This year’s focus is all about AI, cloud workflows, and cross-platform Dynamo goodness:

:robot: AI + Dynamo

  • Dynamo MCP (Alpha)

  • Autodesk Assistant in Dynamo (Alpha)

  • Agentic Node (Alpha)

:cloud: Dynamo on the Cloud

  • Design Automation

  • Dynamo + APS (we might have some new WIP APS nodes :star_struck: )

:puzzle_piece: New Tools & Ecosystem

  • Workflows across Revit, Civil 3D, Forma, Alias

  • Data Exchange and interoperability across tools

  • And some new goodies (stay tuned) :wrapped_gift:

This is your chance to experiment, prototype, and build ideas that don’t always fit into day-to-day project work. And more than anything spends a full day with fellow Dynamo enthusiasts and meet Dynamo team members.

:brain: Team-Based Hackathon

This is a team-only event — collaboration is the whole point :flexed_biceps:

  • Already have a team? Awesome, bring them along

  • Don’t have a team yet? No worries, we’ll help you with that!

Whether you’re a beginner, Dynamo power user or developer or just an automation nerd, this hackathon is open to all things Dynamo.

More details on detailed agenda and team formation are coming soon.
For now, save the date, register, and start thinking about what you’d love to build :rocket:

I wonder how many people will attend and see if there is a trend

Sounds awesome, I’m seriously thinking about attending this year, especially since it’s right here in the Netherlands!

We don’t have visibility on that yet. But, Dynamo team members will be there, so it would be nice to meet you in person if you can make it! We are working on some cool new capabilities. :star_struck:

I don’t know yet but i don’t feel the same satisfaction when AI is solves my problems instead of doing it myself.

Don’t ask it to solve things for you, instead ask it to teach you stuff you don’t know yet.

Does it know DS? like @Vikram_Subbaiah

Not sure anything knows DS like that… But if you have the right model it does know a shockingly large amount.

Please elaborate on the right model thing

That’s gonna get quite off topic, as while someone MIGHT use this type if info in a hackathon project, it’s more likely going to be too much of a tangent.

But if someone were to start a new topic along the lines of “How do people like using AI in the context of Dynamo development” sometime TOMORROW AFTERNOON I’ll drop my thoughts and some recommendations in the thread after the clock runs out on our fiscal year.

I attended last year and honestly, it was a highlight of the conference. It’s one thing to chat on the forums, but actually being around the community hacking on projects in person is a totally different vibe. Highly recommend it to anyone on the fence.

I won’t be able to make it this year, but I know the Dynamo team will be out in force. Have a blast everyone! :rocket:
