Dimension Error in legend

I am trying to Auto dimension my schedules, but somehow I get this error, and maybe have tunnel vision, but cannot solve this error. Any help perhaps?

BAK_Window Schedule.dyn (232.4 KB)

It’s a bit hard to help as you don’t show or discuss what the errors are. Can you provide an example file to replicate the issue with the .dyn?

Good morning, Thanks, I cant, my file is too big.
But any revit file should show the error.
To recreate:

  1. Create a Legend View - any name

  2. place a Legend Component ( a window with the correct orientation)

  3. with the Legend view active, run the Dynamo code.

Hi if your both wanna create legend, as i guess you mean [schedule = legend] component and want dimension as well in same run, you will need a transaction and a passtrough i guess…

TheSchedule will b e in a already created Legend View. The Dynamo script check for the current view, which is the Legend View, and create the window shedule in that view.

allright not sure i understand then, a schedule in a legend view ?, didnt even know that was possible…

Yes, I want to create a window ( and door) schedule, with the doors and windows dimensioned, like this picture.
Now, my dynamo code already create the schedule on a legend view, it just does not dimension it yet, and Im trying to get it to do oveall dimensions also

ahaa now i guess what you mean, but will just call it place legends component in a legend view and dimension, right ?

Yes. Sorry, Im new to Dynamo coding

no worries  but best if you could share a small rvt sample, where the error happends , we can test on as Mike mention, dont expect people create a sample for test your graph

Cant upload. file is bigger that the allowd 10mb, but here is a dropbox link:
