Constrain to linked model?

ChatGPT is telling me I can’t constrain to a linked model using the Revit API…
Is this true?

Ask it for a link to an official indicating that is the case, and then ask it how you should go about informing the Revit team of this oversight.

Is that a yes or no?

That is an i am not sure, and you’ll either need to confirm via another source.

I tried…
I failed. :expressionless:
I tried to do it but failed (but that could just be me :stuck_out_tongue: )
Hence the post … Someone on here will know

I can’t seem to find any nodes in Dynamo that do this either.

Do you have nodes that allow a constraint?

Not that I can find.. Align seems to be for text, viewports, curves… not walls.

Ok - means you’re into the API or a package then. Doable. Start with aligning one item in the active model to another. Then try three items to the one. Then lists of N to t a list of M

After that look into linked model.
