These Areas were not all created on the phase -1. Some of them were created on phase 0.
What am I missing?
I’m wondering if I have to find what view the area is placed on and find the view’s phase?
there is no phase to adress ? -1 is a politly way of to say None
Areas are view based objects so therefore do not have a phase 
Yeah… I know… but they only show up in 1 phase…
I wanna get the phase they show in.

We have a standard phase at work (pre existing)…
So I have now filtered all my Areas by their AreaScheme name. 
By default they show up in all phases (because they are not a phased element), so you must be doing something else to hide them. If you can figure that out, then you can obviously automate that filter.
