I have made solids from modellers in C3D 2024 and need to export them to RVT 2024 so that the various components are distinct in revit and I can assign each of them a separate material.
As I understand it is necessary to use dynamo to extract from C3D the modeller path along which, by creating an adaptive family in revit it is possible to recreate the solid itself. I have a few questions:
- Is Civil connection able to automate the process of just extracting the points or also in creating the family from the subassembly? (also I have not seen any 2024 version, does 2023 work for CD3 and Revit 2024?)
- Is there a way to recreate families directly from the type sections already created in Civil?
