Hi, Is there a node that allows the user to select from assemblies present in a file, similar to how you might select corridors, surfaces and alignments?
Hi
@hosneyalaa thank you for the reply but I need to be able to select the finished assembly from a list of assemblies not subassemblies. I can type the name in as an input (see image) but a drop down like what is available for other elements would work better.
There is no dropdown node for assemblies
@david_licona I was starting to think that. thank you for confirming.
HI @bourke_d
From the attached example of @Anton_Huizinga
try this
After put the attached file in this path
https://www.mediafire.com/file/rvdtg2jkwph3isr/Assembly.rar/file
@hosneyalaa thank you I tried that, and it worked on the first pass but if I run the script again a second output appears and causes an issue:
my language is not good
what’s the problem
Why do you appear? 2 out
- I run the script fine it works
- I close the script
- open it again
- there are now 2 outputs.
hopefully this video will explain the issue better:
Perhaps I am missing somethig.
You need to add a JSON constructor.
Hi @bourke_d
Thanks @zachri.jensen
The problem did not appear for me
Tomorrow I will add a suggestion @zachri.jensen
It might work fine for @bourke_d
Still having the same issue.
Hi Hosneyalaa
Hope your okay.
I jsut want to let you know that the assembly file is not available anymore on MediaFilre. It is possible to you to share it here again?
Thank you so much
Thank you
Big help
@hosneyalaa Is there a reason why the file is not showing even after adding it?
I didn’t understand what the problem was
And what you want to do
This image is for creation package
I want to create a package locally like what @Anton_Huizinga did here.
Adding it directly to library i got this error.
I am sorry, l AM not know a reason
But you can look at link
