Hi all,
The problem is to calculate the propping area and height of scaffolding from selected floors by Dynamo and Revit.
Like the image below, select the floors and run Dynamo, we’ll have the (Height 1, Area 1), (Height 2, Area 2)…
Any idea for algorithm to make it possible, please help me!
Many thanks
Curve projection might help, but I don’t know the manual method here well enough to understand what the automation one would be.
thanks, Jacob.
Manually, floor plans will be overlaid together to find the difference (perimeter boundary, opening boundary) visually between those floor plans. Then, draw the area to calculate.
I think the automation one could be followed this method.
Ah. Yeah that would involve projecting the perimeter curves into the level below and absolve.

I am wondering if there are more than 2 floors then the projection is complicated to find which one is projected to one another.
