Associating a shared parameter to an instance parameter

Hello! My goal is to associate an instance parameter from a nested family to shared parameter in a nest family. I am seeking help to run this script as I am struggling to make it work.

Here is my script:

I am running into an issue “No parameter found by that name” but the parameter does exist in the file (shown below).
associate

I would be grateful if someone was able help me out figuring my issue. If you have any other script or solution to achieve my goal, it is more than welcomed. Thank you for any help!
