3D Element intersection with 2d detail

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if there is a node available that will output a list of elements that intersect a 2D annotation or detail on a plan view similar to the intersect bounding box method. I have provided a snip of the two clash items. 1. The light 2. The red box.
Obviously the bounding box method will create issues where the two items are not on the same plane and therefore only intersect in 2d. So I am after something a little different.

You’d want to scale up the bounding box to encapsulate the extents of the view, from the low point to the high point.

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for your time and valid response. I understand I can go that path and its my most likely route I will go at this stage, however I was wondering if there were other methods / nodes that people were using. Seeming most of these elements have annotation associated with them I was thinking I could somehow clash them on a 2d plane instead.
