You could temporarily change FILEDIA to 0 and it will save to the dwg folder (I think) without a dialogue window I have also used active_doc.SendCommand method in the past which is not documented in the .NET API, this runs the command synchronously without waiting for the application to idle

Wow, i haven’t tought about FILEDIA 0 as a workaround.
And i just tested it and it works, it takes the filepath in the dialog box
