Thank you for this collation @Paul_Wintour - the team is looking at the Crash bugs right now for the 2.19 release and we’ll explore what is viable for the 3.0 release for the rest when I’m back from Parental Bonding leave ![]()

@solamour can you provide an update of where you are at with all these bugs. I have 20 open issues that have been there for 6 plus months.
Hi Paul - Notes on each of these as below.
Please note that upgrading Dynamo’s .NET target from 4.8 to 8.0 took a huge amount of our bandwidth this year meaning many other things were deprioritized. Reason being is if we didn’t do the .NET upgrade there would be no Dynamo in Revit 2025, or Civil 3D 2025 or any of our other hosts who all upgraded.
Bugs:
- Delete does not work in library search - Fixed in 2.19 as noted in Github.
- Adding dash to note crashes dynamo - Fixed in 2.19 and 3.0 as noted in Github.
- Ungroup nested group crashes Dynamo - Fixed in 2.19 as noted in Github.
- Dynamo crashes switching from Auto to manual mode - Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Incorrect Category returned by Category.ByName node - Fixed in 3.0 / Revit 2025.
- Code block outports corrupt - Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Packages uninstalling when Dynamo crashing
- Alternate UI of nodes not updating when unfrozen - Still open, current target of 3.1 release for fix.
- Copying code block Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Nodes showing behind group background despite being grouped - Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Wire colours display orange despite no errors - Closed due to lack of response on Github. Feel free to reopen with more information!
- List.FirstItem returning null Still open, current target of 3.1 release for fix.
Improvements/“features”:
- Group expander icon not visible when group colour is grey - Still open, duplicate of known issue. Logged internally in Jira.
- Minimise group with right-click - Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Delete a single node often results in deleting the entire group - Still open, tracked internally in Jira.
- Alternate UI (zoomed out) is very slow loading - Actively under investigation right now.
