I am new in dynamo , I have list of Door locations & width in Excel as well as in model , i want to set type mark using this 2 parameter values , from large list of excel to separate units …issue is excel has vast list where as in units i have only 6-7 doors , how to match exact location & width than set type mark , please guide!
I am guessing that door 4.7 and 4.8 are the same door type. If so, then you have multiple instances of the same type of this is the case. As a result you can’t set the type mark which you are after without overwriting the values so only the ‘last’ is placed.
Generally speaking:
If you want to deal with type marks, work with types.
If you want to deal with instances, work with marks.
Mixing the two complicates things significantly.
