And i already figured i probably have to partner with our ICT.

But on my ‘control’ environment the Packages that are used are in the roaming folder.
So i am unsure how to go about this.

Hypothetically.

I i would install Packages from within Dynamo on a network folder which i have read and write
rights for and users only read rights, but use that path to get their Packages from would that
solves the blocked file issue?

Nevermind. It seems i can’t change the download to folder.
I really need ICT :disappointed_face:.

My steps would be:

  • From the control user, close Revit and go to %appdata%Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\3.4.
  • Find the folder there named ‘packages’.
  • Change it’s name.

After putting this on the side for a bit i decided to have a look into this again and i think i found the culprit. The network folder. After i zipped the Packages and i put them in a folder with less ‘restrictions’ everything seemed to work
(using your steps 8, 11 and 12 @jacob.small) :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
