[image] I am trying to hardcode (not use a drop down) but it’s giving me Analytical surfaces instead. I tried “Ceiling” (singular) but that’s not the answer. Anyone shed light on this please? It’s fine in all earlier versions of Dynamo. This is Dynamo 2.16 in Revit 23

@Alien , my core is “old” … 2.13. … can you make a work around ? but it is to dangerous, could be there are several bugs!

Dropdowns should work now as well, unless you have projects in unsupported versions to deal with.

Not a fan of drop downs tbh… Just in case someone doesn’t have that category in their model… Although suppose that’s not an issue with ceilings.

Categories are static for all users with that version of Revit, and dropdowns hold true across versions as of 2.4. The exception for this is when categories don’t exist, ie: Abutment Tags not existing in Revit 2020. So as long as you don’t try and run a graph to do automation on something which can’…
