Hello everyone,
I’m new to Dynamo and currently using Revit 2025 with Dynamo version 3.3.0. I’m working on a project that involves multiple modular building divisions such as A1,A2, and A3. Each division is a linked interior model containing floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, and generic models.
What I want to do is:
- Extract all elements (floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, etc.) from one or more linked interior models.
- Apply 3D transformations to these elements, including mirroring across the X or Y axis, rotating around the X, Y, and Z axes (usually 180° on Z), and translating/repositioning them to new coordinates based on the architectural linked models so everything aligns properly.
- Automatically replace family instances (both face-hosted and free-standing) based on the transformed geometry.
- Rename elements such as rooms, views, sheets, and family instance parameters to match the new module names (for example, changing B1, B2, and B3).
Since I am new to Dynamo, I would really appreciate it if anyone has already created a script for this kind of modular BIM automation or could help me build one. Any example scripts, advice, or step-by-step guidance would be beneficial.
Thank you very much in advance for your support
