I am trying to retrieve the Elements from the attached RVT 2019 file. The FamilyInstance.SubComponents node from Clockwork appears empty. Is there a way to get an element’s nested elements?

FI.SubComponents will only return shared nested families. For everything else you would have to open the family in the background.
