Errors when using Data.ImportExcel

hello!

I have encounter below error message when using Data.ImportExcel, anyone knows why? thank you!

Warning: Data.ImportExcel operation failed.
Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80010108 The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010108 (RPC_E_DISCONNECTED)).

do I need to reinstall excel??

Ho @TonyX,

Try to repair Office or Excel first. It is often the solution.

thank you Alban. I have repaired it (both “quick” and “online”), and re-booted. But I still have this issue…

You can also use the Data.OpenXMLImport and Data.OpenXMLExport nodes in the latest versions of Revit and Dynamo.
