Dynamo nonfunctional, possibly due to tightly-controlled company IT settings

Hi,

I’m working in dynamo studio on a dell laptop running windows 7, issued to me by the company I work for, and they have inconveniently and tightly controlled settings on employee computers as well as request processes for getting anything thats not standard on an individual basis. The problem I’m having is that I wire together something in the Dynamo interface, and even with the simplest components, each results in “null.”

Does anyone have a suggestion I can try to get something to function in the program?

Can you post a video screencast or some screenshots (send the whole screen here) to illustrate the problem? Hard to know exactly what the issue is without seeing it in action.
