Dynamo and Excel

Hi All,

I wrote a script that pulls information out of an excel file and dumps it into a revit schedule. It works fine I love it, however, the issue I’m now running into is that the script is linked to that specific file and a user has to manually change the location in the script to pull from a different file.

Is there any way to have dynamo prompt a user when the script is run with out having to go in and manually change it?

Can you show screenshot of your graph here.

I would look at setting the file path to be an input and run the graph via dynamo player. You can get more or less fancy as needed (Datashapes nodes are a must).
