Is it possible to duplicate (and rename) a Revit family type without selecting an element of that type?
Working in a project file, not a family file.

Gotcha. Yeah, I discovered I cold use that and just feed it a type instead of an element. I thought it had to come from a selected element.
Next step is taking a list of type names and duplicating that family type repeatedly with the new names. And, in that process, also assign parameter values.
