Honestly I know many a Revit user who feels this goes the other way… 
With any sort of low code solution, there will inevitably be a slew of missing components and needs; In fact complete API coverage doesn’t usually exist so you’re pulling other threads…
That said, I’d second what @mzjensen said - as of Civil 3D 2025.1 there are a TON of new features. Now we’re just waiting for the 3rd party package managers and community to catch up!
