Dimension by elements not workin

Hello,

I am trying to dimension between hangers but I cant seem to get this to work. What am I missing. Also, by reading this forum it seems that I need to create model lines to create the dimensions. Isnt there a permanent way to dimension using dynamo to actual model elements? thanks!

@mix, if you didn’t sort this out in the intervening year, the input for the referenceElements needs to be the model curves. The node does not recognize the elements themselves. Hope that helps.
