Creating Multiple Section Views by Group so that Group Plot Style can be edited

Hello everyone!

So basically as the title says i’m trying to create multiple section views organized by their respective sample line groups so that i can then edit their Group Plot Style.

I can make it create a bunch of individual Section Views but in an incredible crude manner (as in in the attached image) but unfortunately i cannot edit their Group Plot Style like this.

I’ve also seen this solution but i’m not sure how to actually implement it (never really used python a lot, and never used it at all in Dynamo, only started learning this tool today)

Hi @GCMMA,

We currently don’t have nodes to support section view groups. The SectionView.BySampleLine can be used to create individual section views, which means that the group plot style isn’t applicable. If you need to work with section view groups, your best option is to look at the SectionViewGroup class in the API and go from there.
