Create AreaPlans using Areas

Hello All,

I am working on a project which has lots of areas in a level - shopping mall.

Needed to created indivial areaplan views for each area. is there any script to create areaplans using Dynamo.

Hi Mauro! Your edited areaplan.byarea now almost seems to work! It manages to create new area plans but only for the first floor areas if you have that area plan open. Do you have any clue to why?

Hi, I am trying to produce a script to create area plans from all my view plans. I found a Spring Node called Springs.AreaPlan.ByLevelName, and following what advice I could find I set up the inputs. They said that I need to create one Area Plan set to the desired scheme, which I did. I have fed in my level, the scheme and the list of names, but nothing is happening. Can anyone please advise if I am missing anything or got something wrong ? [image]

if you have 2 area schemes in a project; how do you select the perticular scheme to use this areaplan by area.

No idea - which one is it defaulting to? Can you post a dyn and a rvt to reproduce?

Thanks for uploading. Can you let us know what area scheme is being used?

I’ll try and have a look tomorrow but no promises. Laptop is already off tonight and I have a bunch of poorly spaced meetings and a LOT of my own work to do tomorrow.
