Count Images in Current View

Hi guys, just want to ask if it is possible to count the images in current view, or better if multiple view based on its name for quantification.

I searched the forum and i cannot find anything.

I don’t have any codes yet as i don’t know what node to use for a start.

Maybe you can give me a heads up on what nodes should i use or is it only possible via phyton? (sadly i don’t know phyton)

Try getting all elements in active view, getting the category for each element, filtering the elements by the category names, and counting the results.

okay , using Element Types > Image Type.
I see what i can do and ask again if I’m lost.
